Pasco County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a suspicious death in Land O' Lakes.

Deputies say a body was found at a home on the 5400 block of Julia Lane in Land O' Lakes "under suspicious circumstances."

Deputies received the call at 11:23 a.m.

Neighbors say they heard gunshots in the area early Wednesday morning. They also say an older couple lives there and said the couple has been going through a bad divorce over the past year.

"She came over here many times upset, crying and said that he was going to kill her," said Lily Lopresto. "I mean, we knew it was going to happen. It was just a matter of time."

The sheriff's office has not released the victim's identity or information on the suspect.
